Typographic poster
Case
Create a poster using only letters in the font Adobe Caslon.
Concept
The message of the Adobe Caslon poster is the Boston Tea Party.
The font was used in the US Declaration of Independence and
William Caslon I, who made the base of the font, designed
ornaments for firearm.
I see a clear connection between the font and war. The connection to tea is made even as Caslon himself was British. To continue on that theme, the words Adobe Caslon are placed in the shape of a steaming cup of tea. I wanted to preserve the clean style of the font and therefore worked carfully with a grid (12x12).
