Concept
I found inspiration in the feeling of having an idea but not quite being able to actually turn it into reality. It takes time and patience to get started, but when the project is done you feel a sense of relief. That emotion could almost be described as angelic.
To visually capture that feeling, I created a spiral made by gold paint. The liquid is flowing upwards through a dark atmosphere, like an ounce of hope in a world full of resignation.
The animation was made using Cinema 4D and After Effects.
